Wednesday Fun!!

Its Wednesday again hurrah! Myself and Carl have started preparations to the day well by watching Ireland beat Samoa to make it through to the semi finals and Scotland beat Fiji, in the Rugby League World Cup! After Men's Rugby Union 1st fantastic defeat over Leeds Met at Becketts Park last week we're looking forward to another big clash today with Men's Hockey 1st taking on Loughborough!

More excitingly the new Gryphon Sports Centre on Woodsley Road (behind the business school) will have its first fixtures played there today!

Outside of our Wednesday BUCS action a new sports group has just formed- Baseball! There has never been a baseball club at Leeds and after getting a mention on Channel 5's Baseball show last week, they're off to a great start!
